There are abundant walking trails with all kinds of wildlife. Tea house has a year-round gas fire pit and indoor and outdoor Lunch cooking options for those who are looking for a picnic or longer gathering time.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the forest and experience its therapeutic benefits. We offer a personalized service. Select from two dozen guided ShinrinYoku methods. Each of us learns and enjoys the experience in different ways.
We even have some with no meditation needed.
Digital detox and quiet reflection are practiced here.
The property is heavily treed with Redwoods, Pines, Douglas Firs, Wester Larch, Cypress, Madrone, Live Oak, and Tan Oak, to name just a few.

Escape to this private oasis and find tranquility in a traditional Japanese teahouse setting. The 100% off-grid building comes with bathroom. Kitchenette includes two burner stove, dishes along with pots and pans, tiny refrigerator. Tea and rice crackers.
Sauna is woodburning wet /dry and is free of charge to cabin guests. Book a time and your time will be alone.
Bring all your extra food and drink. Ask the caretaker if you are in need of something. We want to relieve your stress.
Karkar's Deli
We will meet you at the Deli / Convenance store.
Karkar makes the best food to order. Sandwiches and pasta salads are here are simply the best north of San Francisco, along with beer and wine, and next door the convenience store will have anything you may have forgotten. From here we will lead you the best way back to Forest Haven. Ensuring our guests always know the best way in to avoid bad dirt road conditions. Google Map does not monitor dirt roads, we do.
